How the class works

Part 1

After our warm-up we do a basic workout, where the goal is to prepare students for the both the fundamental and most advanced capoeira movements. We focus on getting stronger, faster, and more flexible.

Part 2

Then we spend time working on one of the important capoeira elements. Each class we focus on a specific type of movement to give new students the opportunity to really understand the body positioning and movement functionality. We focus on footwork, escapes, attacks, and acrobatics.

Part 3

Last but not least, we play music, sing, and practice the different techniques we are learning in class. Now the focus is on bringing all the elements together and starting to understand how the capoeira game works.
