What We’ll Do
Event Highlights by Day
Monday–Wednesday
During the day: Explore Miami’s iconic landmarks.
Afternoon: Capoeira classes with special guests, followed by rodas.
Thursday
Special Opening Ceremony
Live music, participant reception, roda, and delicious food (exclusive for full-event participants).
Friday
Afternoon: Samba Carnaval, Samba Axé, simultaneous Capoeira classes with guest teachers.
Roda and Dinner.
Saturday
During the day: Afro dance, a special class with Mestre Coruja,
Roda, students and guest performances, Batizado ceremony, and Feijoada.
Night: Party with live music (optional, ticket sold separately).
Sunday
A relaxing boat ride around Miami (optional, ticket sold separately).

Over the years, people from dozens of cultures and ethnicities have made Miami their home. This is particularly represented in the city’s dining options: from freshly caught sushi to Caribbean jerk chicken, crispy empanadas to delicious Cuban coffee. Upscale and street food options abound.

Miami is ranked as one of the best places in the world to party! If the club scene is your thing, you will feel at home in the buoyant, jam-packed clubs, with loud music and drinks flowing til the early hours of the morning.
The Capoeira
Capoeira in Miami and across South Florida is so diverse and strong. There are many different groups here, with so many talented capoeiristas. Miami capoeira is ready to welcome you - we can’t wait to see everyone in the same place playing and challenging each other. Miami will be on fire!

Miami is particularly famous for its street art and retro architecture. Miami’s South Beach is home to the bright, colorful, iconic Art Deco District. The art scene in Miami is booming, attracting an international audience.
The Neighborhoods
Wynwood, once a gritty warehouse district, has experienced a renaissance and is now renowned for its colorful murals, food and beverage scene, and art galleries and boutiques. It is a fantastic place to spend some time moseying around in Miami, but it is just one of our many amazing neighborhoods, including Design District, Little Havana, and Little Haiti, to name a few.

Be on time: We plan to start on time, so please arrive at least 30 minutes before the first workshop to check in. If you are more than 10 minutes late, you will not be allowed to join class.

The event is located in North Miami, close to Biscayne Blvd, within a gym complex called ADAPT. When you turn off 151st St, the gym is the big white building on your left, past the open grassy area. When you enter, ask the front desk to direct you to the capoeira studio. The Evolve academy is located at the back of the gym on the 2nd floor.
