Kids and teens Program

Here’s what to expect:

Through our classes, your child will have the chance to improve their strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination, all while having fun and learning new skills. They will also develop important social skills, such as teamwork, respect, and communication, as they interact with other children in the class.

We want to help kids grow through capoeira, in all respects - physically, mentally, emotionally, and as students, athletes, friends, and good citizens.

Children will carry the values they learn in capoeira with them for their whole lives. We are proud to be part of their evolution.

Classes incorporate not just the capoeira moves, but also stories, music, games, and regional dances to awaken their creative spirit. Capoeira cultivates a positive attitude, teamwork, respect, and commitment, and raises awareness about the importance of community and culture. We want kids to be kids, while at the same time understanding life’s values and responsibilities.

Improve performance and confidence

In this phase, kids are starting go through big changes mentally and physically.

Our goal is to help them confidently manage these changes: improve their performance and body consciousness, learn how to express themselves through movement and music, develop coordination and reflexes, learn how to be more focused and present, discover their identity, and find a community and passion to be more healthy, fit, and happy with capoeira!

Our capoeira program for adults is broken down into three-month segments for new students, with specific, realistic, achievable goals for each segment. This allows new students to focus on the fundamentals, establishing a strong base for future growth. As students advance, they have more program choices and establish longer-term goals for their advancement and involvement in capoeira.
