We are trying to build something special here in Miami and for the capoeira community overall. We want to make sure everyone has an amazing experience at our event!

What we expect from all events participants:

Communication

Communication is key to success! Evolve Miami Team communicates with students via email, text, and through our WhatsApp group.

Please take time to read all information sent. We value your privacy and will never give your personal contact information to a third party without your permission. 

Forms

All participants must fill out the our “Student agreement” forms. You may complete these forms upon arrival at the event.

Additional Costs

Participants should anticipate costs for food, transportation, housing, activities (tours, party), etc. Prices will vary depending on the activity and number of people participating.


Studio

When we train inside, we must respect the studio rules. Street shoes are not to be worn in the academy at any time. No food or beverages are allowed in studios, except for water.


Behavior & Manners Protocol

  1. Please arrive 20 minutes before the scheduled class time dressed and ready.

  2. Please, NO cell phone use during class! Vadeia Miami permits video recording, but make sure to ask the instructor first. Setting up and recording should not disrupt the class.

  3. Always be well mannered and courteous toward others.

  4. Keep your important belongings in a safe place. We are not responsible for lost items.

  5. Please be responsible, respectful, and ethical. We are working hard to provide an amazing experience and a safe space where people feel comfortable and can fully enjoy themselves. We reserve the right to ask any participant to leave the event for being disruptive. Refunds will not be provided in cases of bad behavior.

  6. The use of alcohol and drugs with the potential to alter your interactions with others are not permitted in event spaces, and their use before or after the event is discouraged.

  7. The use of any kind of violence, verbal or physical provocation, or incitement to violence is expressly prohibited.

  8. Discrimination on the basis of sex, ethnicity, physical appearance or ability, religion, social status, sexual preference, or political opinion, is prohibited.

  9. Racist, homophobic/transphobic, or xenophobic attitudes are prohibited.

  10. Inappropriate physical or verbal behavior of a sexual nature towards adults and minors is prohibited.

Participant safety comes first.

All participants have responsibilities to be watchful, help prevent incidents, and help those in need. We are responsible for the common good of all and to create an event in total harmony based in trust, ethics, and respect.
